Strengthening Collective Care & Liberation
Integrating mindfulness, somatic practices, neuroscience and healing justice for individuals, communities, and organizations to move from cultures of urgency and burnout towards cultures of care and co-responsibility.
Cultivating Spaces Where Care, Reciprocity, and Collaboration Are Possible and Put Into Practice
I partner with individuals, community groups, and organizations to co-create intentional spaces where care, reciprocity, and collaboration become possible and are actively put into practice. Through the integration of mindfulness, compassionate practices, somatic facilitation, neuroscience, and community mental health, I design presentations, workshops, curriculums, retreats, and meetings where participants can imagine and put a plan on how to move away from a culture of urgency, exhaustion, and individualism, toward a culture of care and wellbeing.
In a world shaped by urgency, burnout, and systemic harm, care is not a luxury it is a necessity. Healing does not happen in isolation, and wellbeing cannot be separated from justice.
Self-Compassion for Shame
An 8-week deepening course for graduates of Mindful Self-Compassion
Shame shapes so much of how we relate to ourselves and others and this course meets it with compassion instead of judgment, exploring its personal, cultural, and systemic roots along the way.

— S. B. Executive Director HeartWell Institute “Carolina's teaching and presence in my life have been so meaningful that I can sincerely say she changed my life. Before meeting Carolina and taking her courses (MBSR and MSC) and some one-on-one coaching, I often found myself at war inside my mind, worrying about how happy I was making others, about the future, and reliving my past too often. Carolina has taught me to navigate and really FEEL my emotions in my body and give them a place to go while being kind to myself in the process.”
